Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling role supporting student success for the 2026-2027 school year! We are searching for two, possibly three, passionate Special Education Teachers to provide both instruction and case management in an engaging, student-centered environment. These contract positions are available at the high school level, with the potential for an opening in elementary or preschool as well.

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll create meaningful learning experiences, advocate for individual needs, and foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. This full-time opportunity offers between 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week, running from August 2026 through June 2027.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid certification to teach Special Education (state requirements must be met)
• Demonstrated school-based experience in special education settings (required)
• Background in both instruction and case management
• Confidence working independently and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Flexibility to support students across grade levels as needed

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement effective, individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
• Provide direct instruction to students with diverse needs
• Serve as a case manager, leading communication and documentation for assigned students
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff
• Assist in team meetings, progress monitoring, and transition planning
• Cultivate an inclusive learning environment that values every student
