Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare organization in the Cambridge area is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general ultrasound imaging for a contract role. This opportunity involves working primarily in an outpatient setting where precision and patient care are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC charting systems.
  • Provide one-on-one care for patients during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiology and clinical teams to ensure quality diagnostic results.
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards for imaging practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound imaging.
  • Professional certification RDMS-ABD preferred, with expertise in OBGYN and RVT.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound technologies and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently within a radiology suite environment at an off-site office location.
  • Comfortable working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in a dedicated ultrasound room.
