Job DescriptionTitle: Technical Associate - Research & Development
Location: Marlborough, MA 01752
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
Payrate: $32.00/hr. on w2 basis
Job Description:
1-2 years of hands-on experience in the chemical industry or a similar environment.
Experience with a diverse range of analytical equipment, including SEM, XRF, XRD, wet chemical techniques, and surface analysis methods.
Familiarity with electroplating techniques and electrochemistry. Hands-on experience in electroplating. Strongly Preferred
Curiosity and excitement to learn about the electronics industry.
Experience with application testing of electronic devices.- Preferred
Experience with corrosion science or surface science. Preferred
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or certification- Preferred
Adept at hands-on lab work, creative thinking, and problem solving in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Conduct experiments and evaluations independently. Assume responsibility for executing project workflows, including electroplating, wet chemistry formulation, chemical analysis, and device functional testing.
Collaborate with R&D and other functions to successfully deliver against project goals and timelines.
Clearly and concisely communicate research to team members of varying technical backgrounds.
Ensure compliance with personal and process safety practices, product integrity, and environmental stewardship.
Quals--
A bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific or engineering field- Preferred. Will accept Masters 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the chemical industry or a similar environment.
Strong bias for action.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player.
