Yard Hand/Machine Operator with experience in hardscape!
We are an active stone yard supplying contractors and homeowners with natural stone, concrete pavers, wall block, and other hardscape and masonry products. Located in Newton, minutes from the highway, we are easily accessible from all directions. Due to our ever-growing business, we are looking to add to our yard team this year!
The Yard Hand/Machine Operator will work in our stone yard, with daily duties to include but are not limited to:
· Preparing orders
· Loading and unloading trucks & trailers
· Organizing and putting away stock
· Assisting contractors and homeowners in selections
· Making local deliveries in small dump truck (F550)
· Communicating with the office team
Requirements:
· Experience with hardscape or masonry supply
· Valid Hoisting License
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to lift 100lbs
· Experience operating loader or forklift
Must be reliable and diligent.
***Experience in masonry and hardscape materials is required! The ideal candidate would be a quick learner who is not afraid to ask questions. You will be required to learn the products and familiarize yourself with their differences. Communication skills and ability to work as a team are required.
This is a full-time position M-F and occasionally Sat mornings
