Position Summary:

As a Water Technician, you’ll support critical water mitigation efforts for residential and commercial clients. You’ll work hands-on with specialized tools and equipment to extract water, remove mold, and restore property—all under the guidance of experienced team leaders. This is a Level 2 role in the progressive Water Damage track, ideal for those with some industry experience or a strong desire to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow direction from team leaders and restoration supervisors

  • Understand and follow safety protocols, including MSDS guidelines for chemical use

  • Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections on vehicles and ensure cleanliness

  • Use extraction tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., portable extraction units, weighted tools)

  • Assist in building proper containment zones using negative air machines and HEPA vacuums

  • Apply cleaning/disinfecting solutions and safely remove debris from confined spaces

  • Use protective lifting techniques and tools (sliders, foam blocks) to protect client belongings

  • Learn proper moisture detection using both penetrating and non-penetrating meters

  • Support the installation of drying systems such as Injectidry, Directed-In, and Octi-Dry

  • Document work completed, including time tracking and equipment/consumable use

  • IICRC WRT certified is required
  • Be available for night, weekend, and travel assignments as needed

  • Participate in company-sponsored operations and safety training
