Make a meaningful impact working as a contract paraprofessional supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Multiple openings are available, providing the opportunity to work in a variety of educational environments and with diverse student populations. As a paraprofessional, you’ll offer essential assistance in either one-on-one or group settings, contributing directly to student growth and classroom success.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role preferred
- Comfortable working with students across a wide age range (Pre-K to 12th grade)
- Flexible and adaptable to various classroom settings and teaching styles
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and supporting student needs
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed
- Ability to assist with classroom management and adapt to individual education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering instructional activities and maintaining a positive classroom environment
- Work closely with students in 1:1 or small group settings to reinforce lessons and foster engagement
- Assist with accommodations and modifications for students with individualized education plans
- Help students with daily routines, academic tasks, and social skills development
- Encourage inclusion, respect, and positive interactions within diverse classroom communities
- Collect and report student progress or challenges to lead teachers and staff as needed
