Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Meineke Car Care Center of Worcester is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our busy, full-service repair facility. Our independently owned Meineke location has proudly served the Worcester community for over 40 years and operates in a modern, fully equipped shop with a steady flow of customer work.

Position SummaryThis is a full-time, on-site position responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Compensation: will be based on experience ($23-$40 per hour, fixed rate)
Responsibilities:· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns using modern diagnostic equipment.
· Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, engine performance, exhaust, cooling, and drivetrain systems.
· Complete preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, inspections, and tune-ups.
· Perform tire mounting, balancing, repairs, and rotations (Hunter Road Force experience preferred).
· Perform wheel alignments using Hunter Hawkeye equipment (ADAS calibration experience is a plus).
· Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs and maintenance.
· Accurately document inspections, repairs, and parts used.
· Communicate findings clearly with service advisors to ensure exceptional customer service.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Follow manufacturer procedures, shop policies, and all safety standards.
· Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications:· Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
· Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, engine performance, and general repair.
· Tire mounting, balancing, and alignment experience required.
· Hybrid and EV service experience preferred.
· MIG welding experience is a plus.
· Own professional tools required.
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· ASE Certifications and/or Massachusetts State Inspection License are a plus, but not required.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Authorized to work in the United States.
