We are seeking a Director-in-Training for our Seacoast, NH market. This role is ideal for someone with early leadership or program management experience who is passionate about human services and eager to grow into a Director-level role through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
About the Director-in-Training Role
This is a developmental leadership position designed to prepare you for a future Director role. This role is best suited for someone who is energized by mission-driven work and genuinely motivated by supporting people with diverse abilities.
What You’ll Learn and Do
With support and structured training, you will:
- Support the leadership and development of a team
- Work directly in the community building relationships with employers and partners
- Engage with individuals we serve to support their personal and employment goals
- Participate in outreach with community agencies and funding sources
- Learn how to measure outcomes, track progress, and contribute to market goals
- Gain exposure to budgeting, market growth, and operational decision-making

Required:
- Experience as a team lead, supervisor, program manager, or similar role
- A genuine interest in human services and working with people with disabilities
- Desire to grow into a people‑leading, community‑focused leadership role
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse individuals
- Comfort working in the community and juggling multiple priorities
- Well versed using technology and systems to stay organized
- A clear sense of purpose and excitement about helping others achieve success
