Schedule: Monday - Friday and Every other Weekend
Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation options
Position Status: Non-Exempt
About the Role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll help keep our center, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and well maintained for residents, visitors, and staff.
You'll handle a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance responsibilities, making this a good fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and having something different to tackle each day.
What You'll Do

Perform general building, equipment, and grounds maintenance.

Assist with painting, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, call-system, heating/cooling, and general repairs.

Complete preventive maintenance according to established schedules.

Conduct rounds to identify safety or repair needs.

Respond to maintenance requests and escalate larger issues when needed.

Maintain facility grounds and outdoor areas.

Support Life Safety Code, OSHA, fire-safety, and emergency-preparedness activities.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and materials.

Participate in the required on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver's license.

Working knowledge of basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Safety-conscious and detail-oriented approach.

Prior maintenance experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
