Location: Onsite in Hyannis MA

Purpose of the Role:

The helpdesk support technician will provide technical support to end users, support software & hardware upgrades and assist on infrastructure projects within the IT department. This position is fast paced, challenging and is critical to the business’ success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support identifying problems with users’ computers hardware and software.
  • Manage procurement, configuration and deployment of workstations and other IT assets.
  • Applies technical knowledge (hardware and software) and standard operating procedures (sop’s) to both the local network and end users.
  • Works with hardware and software vendors for quoting, procurement, support and trouble shooting
  • Collaborates with other employees to research and solve problems.
  • Collaborates and works with mechanical and controls engineers to install, modify and change industry specific software and hardware.
  • LAN/WAN support. WiFi support, this also includes all handheld and mobile devices for communications, mobile application, MFA and barcode scanning.
  • Projects assigned from manager.

Qualification requirements

  • Problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication, work well with non-technical resources
  • Excellent time management, and priority management skills
  • Proficient with O365 and other Microsoft products
  • Superior understanding of computer hardware and software systems
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Epicor, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Ubiquity are all pluses but not required
