Your Impact

As an Electrical Assistant Estimator, you’ll help turn blueprints into reality—ensuring our bids are sharp, strategic, and competitive.

Project Analysis

• Review drawings, specs, and project documents to define scope

• Conduct site visits and collaborate with field teams to gather key details

Cost Estimating

• Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs

• Use advanced estimating software to build detailed, accurate bids

• Ensure projects are positioned for profitability and success

Vendor & Subcontractor Relations

• Secure competitive quotes and negotiate pricing

• Build strong, lasting relationships with suppliers and trade partners

Team Collaboration

• Partner with project managers and engineers during pre-construction

• Support value engineering initiatives to maximize project efficiency

• Help problem-solve cost challenges before they hit the field

Market Intelligence

• Track industry trends, labor rates, and material pricing

• Analyze historical project data to sharpen estimating accuracy

Bid Preparation & Presentation

• Assemble comprehensive, competitive proposals

• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices

• Proficiency in estimating software & Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail

• Ability to thrive independently and as part of a high-performing team

⭐ Bonus Points If You Have:

• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification

• Experience with BIM software

• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical systems
