Location: U.S. (Multiple Locations Considered)
Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Associate (3–6 years) with broad transactional experience to join its sophisticated real estate practice. This role offers exposure to high-value transactions across a range of asset classes and deal structures.
Key Responsibilities

Structure, negotiate, and draft purchase and sale agreements, mortgage loan documents, and core transaction materials

Manage acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and closing processes

Oversee closing checklists and transaction documentation

Draft and negotiate commercial leases, joint ventures, construction agreements, CC&Rs, REAs, declarations, and easement agreements (preferred)
Qualifications

3–6 years of broad real estate transactional experience

Strong experience with mortgage debt financing (borrower-side preferred) and purchase/sale transactions

Leasing and joint venture experience a plus

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative mindset with strong independent problem-solving ability

Active bar membership in good standing
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $260,000 – $390,000 (U.S.), depending on experience and location
