Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy services to patients within the hospice system, addressing complex mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adult patients facing terminal illnesses, who often experience a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Our patients may include individuals struggling with unbearable pain, end-of-life anxiety, and grief. By addressing their mental health needs, you will play a pivotal role in improving their quality of life and assisting them and their families in navigating this sensitive period.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with serious mental health concerns.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in hospice care or chronic illness management will be given preference. Knowledge of grief counseling and crisis intervention methodologies will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
