Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position focuses on supporting children with disabilities during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from July 6 to July 31, Monday through Thursday, from 8 am to 12 pm.
As the occupational therapist for this program, you’ll guide students in reaching their IEP goals by delivering tailored interventions and collaborating closely with educators and families. Your expertise will help ensure that students continue to progress, even outside the traditional school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and consultative OT services in alignment with students’ IEP objectives.
- Implementing evidence-based strategies for fine motor development, sensory regulation, self-care, and overall participation in school activities.
- Maintaining detailed records, session notes, and service logs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Working collaboratively with special education teachers, related service providers, and caregivers.
- Modifying materials and tasks to promote student success both within school and community settings.
Preferred qualifications:
- Current state licensure to practice occupational therapy.
- Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy role.
- Solid understanding of the IDEA statute and IEP documentation process.
