Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity assisting students at the middle and high school levels near Derry, NH as an Occupational Therapist. In this flexible, part-time position, you'll work 20 hours per week – with some hybrid days available – supporting learners' growth and independence. Your skills will help foster success both inside and outside the classroom, making a meaningful impact on the lives of adolescents.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) required
- Experience working with middle and high school populations strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and providing direct therapy services
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills to partner with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students in middle and high school, both on-site and in a hybrid format
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized educational program (IEP) goals
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and communication with team members in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide strategies and resources to support students’ participation in their academic and social environments
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for student needs
