Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in Franklin, NH. This position plays a vital role in supporting manufacturing and distribution operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of materials, products, and equipment.


The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial vehicles, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with production, logistics, and management teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks and box trucks to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and customer locations.
  • Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Safely load and unload materials using proper lifting and handling techniques to prevent injury and product damage.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using maps, GPS technology, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, delivery logs, and inspection documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics personnel, and management regarding delivery status and scheduling.
  • Support transportation and logistics operations as needed to ensure smooth manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Promote safe driving practices and maintain a clean driving record.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for operating dump trucks and box trucks.
  • Proven experience operating commercial vehicles in a manufacturing, industrial, or transportation environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials.
  • Basic route planning, map reading, and navigation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics software.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Additional safety certifications or hazardous materials training.


Work Environment

This position operates primarily in manufacturing and transportation environments. Employees may be exposed to industrial machinery, forklifts, varying weather conditions, loud noise levels, and other manufacturing-related conditions while performing job duties.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, and move throughout manufacturing facilities and delivery locations.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around forklifts and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels.
