Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and/or eligibility as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome
- Experience with school-aged children or a genuine interest in school-based settings
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Organization, flexibility, and a passion for student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Deliver group and individual therapy, supporting students’ communication and academic goals
- Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and timely records to ensure compliance and continuity of care
- Stay updated with best practices and contribute to a positive school culture
