Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our client's luxury residential management team. In this role, you will assist in the management of one large residential luxury property, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, customer service, and administrative tasks, with a keen understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in daily operations, including tenant relations and property maintenance.
- Manage leasing activities, including showing properties, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for tracking leases and tenant information.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain positive relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance requests using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Support marketing efforts through upselling strategies to attract new tenants.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as phone etiquette, correspondence, and office management.
Skills
- Experience with property management software (Yardi, OneSite) is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills for contract discussions and tenant agreements.
- Background in property facilities management is advantageous.
- Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and filing tasks.
