Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in K-12 caseloads, located in Fall River, MA. This contract position is set to cover the entire school year and offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational environment, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese highly preferred to serve the diverse student population effectively.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in school settings, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in supervising SLPAs and CFYs.
  • Open to new graduates seeking to gain valuable experience in school-based speech therapy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
