This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated Special Education Teacher ready to make a significant impact both in-person and potentially through remote instruction if necessary. You'll have the unique chance to deliver focused support to a diverse group of students ranging from middle school through high school, including specialized settings such as charter and Montessori schools.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification and experience in K-12 environments.
- Proficient in delivering Wilson Reading System instruction.
- Prior experience working with middle or high school students in special education settings.
- Ability to manage varying instructional needs across multiple campuses.
- Adaptability to teach in-person or remotely, depending on candidate availability and district needs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 5 hours of Wilson Reading instruction weekly to a middle school student.
- Deliver 20 additional hours of special education services across high school, charter school, and Montessori settings each week.
- Tailor instruction to meet individual educational plans and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
- Collaborate with instructional teams to ensure effective service delivery and student support.
