Contract Duration: 20 weeks
Start: Immediate
Pay Rate: $60.00 $62.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: 6-hour days, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM, Monday Friday; weekends as needed

Job Summary
Addiction RN needed for Tewksbury Therapeutic Support Services. Role will have similar expectations as a school nurse and will not involve passing medications. The RN will be considered part of the leadership team since they are partnering as a program. The detox program provides 24-hour nursing care to monitor an individual's withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and alleviate symptoms. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and report all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments, and changes in patients' safety status
- Administer medications to patients
- Collaborate with team in providing health information and maintain clients' medical records
- Respond to patient care needs/issues and assist patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environment
- Assist with the admitting, discharge, and transfer process
- Participate in treatment team meetings and assist with development of care plans
Education Requirements
- Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current certification in CPR
Required Experience
- Experience with addiction treatment services preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Weekends as needed

- LOCALS ONLY Local candidates required for this position
- Must be separated from BILH (Beth Israel Lahey Health) system for 6 months before returning as permanent, per diem, or travel nurse
- 20-week BILH coversheet required at time of submission
