Wastewater Plant Maintenance Helper
Southbridge, MA | $17–$21/hr | Contract-to-Perm
Summary
Entry-level position supporting wastewater plant operations and maintenance. Ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work outdoors and are eager to learn about wastewater treatment processes.
Key Qualifications

Able to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions

Willing to learn wastewater treatment processes & regulations

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Responsibilities

Perform grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, snow removal, trash cleanup)

Paint piping, buildings, and other facility structures
-
Assist operators with cleaning tanks, hosing down equipment, and organizing tools

Observe plant operations and learn process control, sampling, and lab basics

Follow safety procedures & wear required PPE

Support plant operations with additional tasks as assigned
Pay & Schedule

$20–$21/hr based on experience
