OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented Technician 2 to join our team! Under supervision, the Technician 2 will run tests, verifies, calibrates and perform trouble shooting on high power and complex Medical Equipment including; RF & gradient amplifiers, high & low voltage power supplies, combiners, circulators, and complex PCBs to meet customer specifications. This position is Temp to Hire
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Testing and adjusting amplifiers to meet customer specifications/adjusting power supplies to meet specified output and safety specifications.
- Maintains and calibrates test station and other associated equipment to meet or exceed industry standards
- Advises team of testing and quality issues
- Provide repair team with all necessary data to ensure repair is performed correctly
- Maintain and provide all necessary data to quality acceptance team
- Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation
- Follow quality and safety standards and regulations set forth by the company
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have some level of understanding of analog and digital circuit theory, Ohm's Law, power formulas, filters, op-amp theory and basic semi-conductors
- Must have knowledge of basic electronic components including properly identifying type and value of resistors, capacitors, diodes, and inductors
- Knowledge of theory from schooling or related experience
- Ability to troubleshoot non-complex circuits to the component level
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Requires, as a minimum, familiarity with the basic functions of digital multi-meter (DMM) and oscilloscope
- Familiarity with spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and frequency counters
- Ability to repair products by using a history record of similar problems
- Basic Computer Skills
- Technical Certificate and or equivalent, and 3 years of related experience

Analogic is located @ 8 Centennial Drive in Peabody MA. We will be relocating our facility to Salem NH--It is necessary to this role that you have your own transportation to both locations.
