Refrigeration Technician

Location: 34-35/HR
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Potential

Shift: 6:30AM-2:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Charge, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair capital refrigeration equipment.

• Fabricate, assemble, test, and repair cascade and multi-stage refrigeration systems for environmental test equipment.

• Perform leak testing, system evacuation, and refrigerant charging to specifications.

• Test and repair refrigeration systems at all assembly levels.

• Record pressure and temperature data during system testing.

• Support engineering teams in system testing and evaluation.

Requirements:

• EPA Certification required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems (single stage, cascade, multi-stage).

• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to fabricate, assemble, and test refrigeration systems.

• Ability to safely operate leak detection equipment and perform system charging.

• Proficient in documenting pressure and temperature readings during testing.

• Ability to assist engineers with system testing and evaluation procedures.
