We are a global team of like-minded Med-Tech professionals focused on patient centric solutions in a collaborative environment leading to excellent outcomes. We have developed an advanced and unique heart failure therapy technology in the BrioVAD® Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS). We are introducing the BrioVAD LVAS to Heart Failure clinicians for use with the large number of indicated and untreated patients who could benefit from chronic mechanical circulatory support. The initiation of our INNOVATE™ Trial in the US is only the beginning. We are building a team to develop advanced technology intended to further improve patient outcomes, increase therapy acceptance, and enabling chronic MCS therapy to be accessible to more patients across the globe.

Job Summary

BrioHealth Solutions Inc. is seeking an accomplished and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept through commercialization. In this strategic role, you will guide cross-functional teams through every phase of the product lifecycle—including concept development, design, verification/validation, manufacturing transfer, and product launch.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Develop, optimize, and execute comprehensive project plans, balancing priorities, risk, resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Oversee project documentation in accordance with design control requirements, including design history files, schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and phase-gate deliverables.
  • Manage scope changes, resource needs, and budget adjustments, proactively mitigating project risks and constraints.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, resolve issues, and negotiate trade-offs to keep projects on track.
  • Present project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership in a clear, actionable manner.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within project teams.
  • Leverage influence management to drive alignment across departments and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach team members, empowering them to deliver exceptional results.
  • Demonstrate decisive leadership by making sound judgments and balancing competing priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required; Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7+ years of product development experience spanning multiple technical disciplines (software, firmware, electronics, mechanical design, industrial design).
  • Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget in a regulated industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR); familiarity with design and production of medical electronics preferred.
  • Skilled in project planning methodologies (e.g., critical path, critical chain) and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and accountability, with a demonstrated commitment to meeting quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
