Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Opportunities available statewide across Massachusetts
Schedule: Full-Time
Setting: Public schools (preschool, elementary, middle, and high school placements available)
School Year: 2026–2027

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred (preschool through high school)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
