Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves serving as a Pharmacy Nurse Consultant covering Northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and parts of Maine. The role focuses on acting as a liaison between pharmacy services and long-term care facilities, providing expert consultation without hands-on clinical duties. This position combines office-based tasks with field visits, offering a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and handle documentation in an office setting
  • Maintain regular phone communication and participate in meetings
  • Conduct training sessions and educational programs for facility staff on pharmacy systems and startups
  • Make monthly onsite visits, providing reports to facilities for ongoing customer success
  • Collaborate with internal pharmacy teams to ensure smooth service coordination
  • Assist in survey preparation for facilities
  • Conduct medication cart/room inspections and medication pass observations as requested

Qualifications:

  • Licensed LPN or RN with at least 1 year of experience
  • Proven experience in long-term care settings
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and medication distribution software such as EMAR, Medbank, and Frameworks preferred
  • Flexibility to work varied shift times as per facility requirements
  • Reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory; overnight stays may be required

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, minimal weekend work
  • Typically 40 hours per week; shifts vary based on facility needs

Compensation includes reimbursement for mileage and hotel stays during travel assignments.
