UVS is seeking a Direct Support Employment Specialist to support individuals to be successful at work, gain proficiency and independence, interact with colleagues and supervisor, and develop their careers.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and demeanor:

• Proficient with technology
• Physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors in Human Services preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with Developmental and Psychiatric disabilities.Willing to train the right individual.
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
• Registered, Inspected and Insured vehicle to be used to transport individual
• Must be able to pass a background check

UVS is offering a generous sign on bonus!!

$500 at time of hire and another $500 upon successfully completing six months at UVS.

Thorough initial and ongoing training is provided!
