Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal quality and comfort.
- Operate CT scanner equipment safely and efficiently.
- Review images for clarity, accuracy, and proper positioning.
- Administer contrast materials when required and monitor patients for any reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles at all times.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Ensure equipment cleanliness, calibration, and readiness for daily use.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the process.
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (CT) preferred or required depending on facility.
- State licensure (as applicable).
- BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety standards.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
