Position: House Supervisor (RN)
Overview:
The House Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative representative during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role provides leadership, coordination, and support across all hospital departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary administrative lead during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with Department Heads to support clinical and operational functions
- Serve as backup for unit/department managers in their absence
- Coordinate hospital-wide patient care and operations on a shift basis
- Oversee staffing, patient placement, and clinical coordination
- Manage patient/family concerns, risk management, and communications
- Ensure appropriate allocation of staff, supplies, and equipment
- Support staff through mentoring, evaluation, and leadership
Required Certifications:
- BLS / ACLS / PALS / NRP
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- STABLE
