Key qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire OPLC Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Successful completion of the NPTE-PTA exam
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy or previous work in school-based environments preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to student-centered, individualized care
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering specially-designed instruction and physical therapy services as outlined in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and guardians to schedule and implement therapy sessions at mutually agreeable times
- Maintaining thorough documentation of services provided and student progress
- Adhering to district, state, and legal standards for therapy and confidentiality
