Job Summary

Work in a team environment providing technical support, part numbers and warranty/installation information and service to service providers, manufacturer representatives, equipment dealers, and end users for commercial cooking equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job.

Provide professional startup/install support by phone, fax, mail, email and meetings.

Work with representatives, dealers, kitchen equipment suppliers and chain accounts to process installations and startups from start to finish.

Interact with kitchen equipment suppliers on ship dates/locations and schedule local service agents for the jobs.

Enter all info into Global Warranty for service agent authorization numbers.

Create reports by chain on statuses for each on all startups, installations and joinings.

Responsible for traceability, all associated paperwork, and record keeping.

Adhere to all departmental and company-wide safety and procedural policies.

Notify supervisor of any quality issues during startups/installs.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general equivalency degree required.

Strong technical background with commercial cooking equipment required.

Associates degree is preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read, converse, and understand technical English. Ability to use basic English words and phrases to write brief sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) certification a plus.
