Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers the chance to impact lives at either the high school or potentially elementary/preschool level, depending on evolving needs. The assignment runs from August 2026 to June 2027, with full-time hours ranging from 32.5 to 37.5 per week. Ideal candidates possess experience working within a school setting and are passionate about both teaching and managing special education cases.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working in a school environment (required)
- Comfortable providing both direct instruction and case management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to shifting student needs
- Experience at the high school, elementary, or preschool level is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet IEP goals and support academic, social, and emotional growth
- Serve as a case manager, coordinating evaluations, IEP meetings, and ongoing documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective inclusion and support
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive school climate
