Responsibilities:
- Cut and prepare fiberglass and carbon fiber composite materials for layup
- Mold preparation for layup.
- Layup and vacuum bag for oven cure with release liner and breather materials.
- Bond honeycomb, and various inserts with epoxy or adhesive film as required.
- Drill, sand and perform finish operations as needed.
- Perform mechanical assembly involving rivets, fasteners and machined components.
Qualifications:
- Experience in complex composite layup involving fiberglass and carbon fiber materials
- Experience with adhesive film and bonding inserts into these layups
- Able to read drawings and work over travelers
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm
The pay is up to $28/hour based on experience
