Overview

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Production Planner.

Would accept Office Admin experience, but truly prefer previous planning experience.

Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Keene, NH
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Keene, NH

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F, 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Education: High School Diploma or GED

This is an ITAR facility. Candidates must be compliant with DOD/ITAR requirements and be U.S. citizens or nationals.

Description
The purpose of this position is to provide coordination and administrative support to the production control function. The Production Planner plays a key role in ensuring production documentation is accurate, complete, and accessible, and that job tracking and inventory systems are kept current to support efficient manufacturing processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Print, organize, and validate document packages to ensure all necessary production information is available and accessible

  • Perform data validation including verifying job start dates and reference information to maintain accuracy

  • Deliver and organize jobs in the kitting room, ensuring all tasks are properly allocated and ready for implementation

  • Enter and update the status of each job in the system, keeping the team informed of progress and completion

  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, and recording their locations

  • Locate and verify materials listed on production orders

  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and willingness to follow procedures

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally

  • Comfortable working in an environment with alcohol and acetone used for cleaning

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience:

    • Previous production planning experience preferred (even one year is acceptable)

    • Office administration experience will be considered, but prior planning experience is strongly preferred

Additional Information
