Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Telemetry position requiring strong telemetry and neuro skills with prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work in a MedSurg/Telemetry unit (North 6) in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry/neuro cases requiring strong monitoring skills
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating possible to similar units
- No on-call requirements
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
- Strong telemetry and neuro nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Telemetry competency test administered on the first day of orientation
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
