Automation & Airtable Specialist
Job Description
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a sharp, systems-oriented Automation & Airtable Systems Assistant to help streamline how work flows through Knife Drop Studios. You will assist in designing and implementing automations, maintaining Airtable bases, and improving internal workflows across content, operations, and onboarding.
You don’t need to have everything figured out — but you should be comfortable learning quickly, thinking logically, and working with technical tools. This role is especially well-suited for a student or recent graduate with an interest in software engineering, operations, or applied automation.
Who You’ll Work With
You will work directly with Knife Drop Studios operations and digital team leadership. You’ll help translate real operational needs into structured systems and automations, while learning how a fast-growing media company actually runs behind the scenes. You’ll receive clear guidance, but will also be trusted with real ownership over parts of our systems.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Experience building automations or similar internal tools as described, ideally across AirTable, n8n, Slack, and Notion
- Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (engineering, computer science, operations, or related fields preferred)
- Comfort working with structured data (tables, fields, relationships)
- Experience with or strong interest in Airtable
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting concepts (e.g. n8n)
- Interest in using LLMs / AI tools within workflows (OpenAI or similar)
- Ability to clearly document processes and explain how systems work
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
