Make a meaningful difference as a one-on-one paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with PreK students in a supportive school environment close to Epping, NH. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide individualized assistance, help nurture growth in early learners, and gain valuable experience in educational support.
In this role, you’ll work directly with a single student, helping facilitate their participation in activities, supporting behavioral goals, and collaborating with teachers and staff to maximize the child's success. Your presence in the classroom creates a positive and structured environment where every milestone counts.
What we’re seeking:
- Active New Hampshire RBT or Paraprofessional license/certification (required)
- Previous experience working with young children or in a school setting preferred
- Understanding of behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for supporting student success
Key responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1:1 support for a PreK student during their school day
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Support the student with classroom routines, academic tasks, and social interactions
- Help foster positive behavior and independence
- Accurately document daily progress and work closely with staff and families
