Position:Quality Assurance Manager
Location:Boston, Massachusetts (Fully on site)
Salary:$55K-$60K
Growing Hospitality Services provider seeks a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Service- The QCM will train and direct the expo and logistics team on customer engagement, follow up, and documenting of conversations pertaining to cases.
Food Quality and Presentation- The QCM will work with each member of the team to ensure Food Quality, Specs, and best practices are within company protocols as well as the systems of capturing this through photo app and D365.
Operational Processes and Standards- The QCM will communicate daily/weekly with the General Manager to ensure all company operational processes and standards are being adhered to too.
Logistical Systems and Billing The QCM will communicate and monitor the use of systems such as Shipday, Partner Portal, D365 to ensure these are actively and consistently being adhered to.
Create World Class Teamwork Commitment- The QCM through daily & weekly shift meetings, team building events and through cross training and personal development by empowering his team.
- Full compliance with the company Order Management Process
- Responsible for order packaging process to ensure all steps are taken and all requested items are labeled and secure before delivery.
- Keeping current the Kitchen order status features for customer portal
- Overseeing the Expeditors, Drivers and company vehicle dashboard for maintaining maintenance records
Establishing and implementing quality standards for products, services and both internal and external specifications
Oversee the quality and brands of local purchase items to include expiration dates and identify trends on commonly purchased items at retail establishments.
Ensure all retail purchase, alcohol, third party purchased items are priced accordingly with assistance of their manager.
- Staying current on company standards and policies to ensure compliance
- Handling quality and service reports and documentation with customer follow up
- Collecting and analyzing quality assurance data
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in a retail food/distribution/food service environment
Basic Skills in Microsoft Office programs
All candidates must pass a background check & drug screen prior to onboarding
