Master Family Medicine is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and highly organized part-time Medical Assistant to join a small concierge family medicine practice. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a personalized, patient-centered environment focused on high-quality care. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently in a small office setting, and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients of all ages. Approximately 3 days a week (~7 hours a day).
General Accountabilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform EKGs, routine screening tests and point-of-care testing as applicable
- Prepare, clean, stock exam rooms and clinical inventory
- Assist with office procedures and cleaning and sterilization of medical equipment
- Perform injections/vaccines, phlebotomy and specimen handling
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Assist with clinical calls, patient refills and prior authorizations under physician guidance
- Maintain infection control and OSHA/HIPAA compliance standards
- Support smooth daily office flow and patient care in a small-team environment
Job Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required with strong experience
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records, experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
- Professional, calm, and patient-centered demeanor.
- Prior experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or concierge medicine preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
