Job Description

ITS is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Project Manager with an industrial background in the areas of rigging, millwright, transportation and custom fabrication. We are searching for a motivated, qualified, and creative person to fill the role of Project Manager, whose tasks include estimating, project management, supervision, and execution of strategic projects with a strong understanding in customer service.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience in the industrial and construction fields.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal & written. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with employees, client safety representatives and customers.

Possess the ability to lead our teams both in the office and in the field.

Must be detail oriented and a practical thinker to address and solve issues at the job site.

Must be a motivated team player with a positive attitude.

Must be quality focused and have a proactive understanding of Health and Safety.

Proficiency with CAD, Solid-works a plus but not required

Understanding of manufacturing methods and processes

Possess a valid driver’s license, pass a drug screening and a background check.

Essential Functions:

Manage multiple large strategic projects from start to finish. Tasks to include estimating, planning, Set up of professional subcontracted services, such as electrical, mechanical, cranes and transportation, contract negotiations, invoicing and record keeping while keeping and maintaining safety as our #1 priority.

Manage large and strategic projects from the office and in the field.

Conduct weekly progress meetings with the staff

Support other projects with engineering and technical knowledge.

Prepare safety work instructions, procedures, and job hazard analyses (JHA’s) for all projects.
