Location: Billerica, MA
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire (Permanent)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (6:30am start, flexible up to 7:00am)
Pay: $33–$36/hr
Overtime: Available
About the Role We are seeking a Production Test Technician (Level 4) to support the testing and control of components, subassemblies, and assembled goods used in advanced X-ray inspection systems. This is a hands-on role focused on calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement in a production environment.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Work with electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical test fixtures; contribute feedback for future design improvements
- Execute test specifications, methods, and procedures using prints, drawings, and diagrams
- Test and troubleshoot components, assemblies, and final systems; perform rework as needed
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, data analysis, and recommended solutions
- Use software tools to follow work instructions, review BOMs, specifications, and ECOs
- Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment
- Collaborate with New Product Introduction teams to integrate testing technology into future products

What You’ll Bring
- Associate’s Degree + 3 years of manufacturing test experience, OR High School Diploma + 5 years related experience
- Strong computer skills (software installation/configuration, hardware, networking)
- Proficiency with test equipment: power meters, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters
- Experience with hand tools, assembly skills, and industry nomenclature
- Ability to prepare and analyze technical reports with data-driven recommendations
- Working knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, and work instruction software
- Knowledge of AS9100 standard a plus
- Self-starter attitude with initiative to improve processes and solve problems
