Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language needs for the upcoming school year! This role is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), looking to make a meaningful impact within an educational environment.
Your journey will begin in late August and last through mid-June, allowing you to guide students through a full academic cycle. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and play a crucial part in students' growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license and CCC credential
- Background in school-based SLP settings
- Experience with IEP development, progress tracking, and report writing
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities
- Familiarity with a diverse caseload, including articulation, language, and social communication challenges
- Comfort with both pull-out and push-in services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions
- Conduct therapy sessions for students, both individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports
- Support the school community by offering resources and in-service training as needed
