Job Title: Practice Manager

Job Summary:
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day non-clinical operations of the outpatient clinic, including oversight of front desk staff, intake coordinators, medical assistants, and general office workflow. This role ensures that all administrative functions run efficiently to support high-quality client care and staff experience. The Practice Manager partners closely with clinical leadership, the Medical Director, and administrative departments (HR, finance, IT) to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide training, supervision, and performance evaluations for administrative staff
- Monitor time and attendance, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work culture
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new administrative hires

Work closely with Regional Clinic Director and Medical Director to identify workflow issues and operational needs

Coordinate with billing and records departments to support documentation and insurance requirements

Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant health and safety regulations

Monitor and address front-end documentation issues that may impact clinical or billing workflows
- Implement quality improvement processes related to customer service, client access, and clinic flow
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health office management
- Supervisory experience required
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with EHR systems, scheduling software, and HIPAA compliance
