Step into a contract opportunity providing physical therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade in a supportive, school-based environment near Springfield, MA. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 10-12 students, primarily at the elementary level with some high school consultation, spread across two conveniently located school sites.

Desired Background & Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License required
  • Prior experience delivering physical therapy within a school-based setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and working within an educational team
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with school staff
  • Availability to begin as soon as possible and continue through June 18, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students and provide consultative support for educational teams
  • Write and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and maintain ongoing documentation
  • Partner with special education and related service staff to support student outcomes
  • Manage a caseload effectively—mainly elementary students with some responsibilities at the high school
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment across both assigned school sites

Schedule Details:

  • Contract position; approximately 1 to 1.5 days per week
  • Typical hours: 8:15 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Work with students at two adjacent campuses
