Compensation:
$75,000 - $110,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop relationships with prospective clients through networking, referrals, community involvement, and other business development activities
- Meet with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their goals, priorities, and financial needs
- Educate clients on insurance and financial solutions that align with their individual circumstances and objectives
- Develop and maintain a growing client base through consistent prospecting, relationship building, and follow-up
- Provide ongoing service to existing clients and conduct regular reviews as their needs and goals evolve
- Maintain accurate client records and track business development activities and progress toward individual goals
- Stay current on relevant products, industry developments, and regulatory requirements through ongoing training and professional development
- Collaborate with mentors, managers, and other professionals to continuously strengthen your knowledge and client-service skills
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative
- Ability and willingness to learn about insurance and financial products, industry regulations, and professional standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must possess or be willing to obtain the appropriate state insurance license(s)
- Comfortable using technology and learning new business and client-management systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, leadership, or a relationship-focused role is a plus, but not required
- Coachable, professional, and committed to ongoing learning and development
