Job Description:
The CAD Technician is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings that support standardized industrial workspace and material handling designs. This role focuses on translating existing examples and evolving design concepts into accurate, scalable drawing sets used across a large operational network.
Responsibilities:
- Create plan and elevation views for material handling equipment, work areas, and system components.
- Ensure precision, consistency, and adherence to established design standards.
- Deliver high-quality outputs with minimal direction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 5 years operating experience in CAD with ability to work and manage layers.
- Minimum of an Associates Degree in Drafting and Design.
- Experience/exposure to AutoCAD and Revit.
- Minimum of 1 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Conveyor design and layout experience.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree.
- Ability to communicate to various audiences.
- Ability to lead small groups.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
