Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PSYCH RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Registered Nurses with expertise in psychiatric care. This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic in-patient psychiatric environment, supporting individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. Candidates must be able to commit to a consistent weekday schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

• 2nd shift; 2:45pm – 11:15pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shift applicants, please)
• 13-week duration

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current, active RN license valid for practice in New Hampshire—provide a copy upon submission
• Minimum of two (2) years’ in-patient psychiatric nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric nursing best practices and patient care in a behavioral health setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult psychiatric in-patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and administer psychiatric and medical interventions as prescribed
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress with interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Maintain safety and de-escalate crises using appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication as needed
• Uphold all protocols and ethical standards for behavioral health practice
