We are seeking a Plastics Material Handler to support production operations in a plastic injection molding environment. This position is responsible for supplying raw materials to molding machines, transporting finished goods, monitoring material levels, and maintaining an organized production floor.
Responsibilities
- Supply resin and raw materials to injection molding machines.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Change and refill material hoppers as needed.
- Remove finished products and transport them to staging or shipping areas.
- Verify material labels, lot numbers, and production paperwork.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
- Keep production and warehouse areas clean and organized.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous material handling experience in manufacturing required.
- Plastics or injection molding experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required; certification a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
