About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our housekeeping team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that linens, towels, and clothing are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. Responsibilities:
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, towels, and clothing
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and storing laundry supplies
• Monitor and control inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any discrepancies to management
• Distribute clean laundry to patients and residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and tidy
Requirements:
• 0 years of experience (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent required
